Leadership Development

Rotary offers personal and leadership development programs for youths, as well as training opportunities for young professionals and up and coming Rotary leaders.

Rotary Youth Program of Enrichment (RYPEN) is a weekend-long camp for 14-17 year olds who have not had any experience in leadership positions and would benefit from a structured learning program focused on confidence building and having exposure to introductory leadership training. Available in Australia, Timor Leste and soon in Fiji.

Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) is a challenging 7-day program which provides a unique opportunity for leadership skills development for 18-28 year olds. The camp takes place in January each year.

Rotaract clubs bring together people aged 18 and older to exchange ideas with leaders in the community, develop leadership and professional skills, and have fun through service. Rotaract provides regular professional development opportunities, training online and in person, and new experiences when volunteering at and planning events.

Rotary Leadership Institute (RLI) provides quality education in Rotary knowledge and leadership skills to Rotarians interested in developing their Rotary participation and to those identified by Rotary Clubs as having a potential in club leadership. These educational opportunities teach skills that will benefit the members in their lives and in their volunteer service.
