As we get ready for this year’s Epic Day of Service on 16 May 2026, excitement is building across Rotary South Pacific.

What to expect on this epic day
On or around 16 May, Rotary, Rotaract and Interact Clubs across the South Pacific (and globally!) will be working on projects that support communities. The special part? When we all volunteer on the same day, the impact becomes epic.
Projects vary by location, but all are designed to support local needs. We’ve listed some of the many projects happening across our region below.
- blood donation drives
- Relay for Life
- packing kits for rural pregnant women and care packs family violence survivors
- community space clean ups
- graffiti removal,
- shelter bag donations
- dinner for fire affected communities
- Quiz night fundraisers
- Placing Rotary peace poles
- entertaining the aged
- Chopping wood/kindling for those who need it this winter
- Testing health of rivers
- Providing hot meals for the unhoused
- Working bees in community gardens
- Fun day for children (victims and survivors of violence)
