Rotary Programs for Schools

"There is great synergy between the education sector and Rotary. Both institutions are involved in developing student agency and leadership. Education and Rotary share common values and the notion of humanitarian service to peers, youth and families.

Schools are busy environments with multiple challenges, driven by meeting targets and creating a culture of teamwork and support for students and families. Rotary can support and enhance the opportunities for students to reach their full potential and see themselves as global citizens."
- Julie Mason (PDG and former Principal at Baden Powell College)

"Twenty years ago, my year 11 Chemistry Teacher opened a door I didn’t even know existed. She mentioned a science camp and looked at me like I was the kind of person (nerd) who’d say yes…
A huge thank you to every teacher who continues to light a spark for the next generation. You may never see where your influence goes, but it never ends."
 - Rebecca Fry (Rotarian and Founder, Rotary Fellowship for Leadership Education and Development, RYLA Oceania)
