Club Excellence

Club Excellence Awards

The Club Excellence awards, formerly the Rotary Citation awards, recognise clubs that achieve specific goals throughout the year.

Goals can include: increasing their membership; engaging members in sustainable service projects; giving to The Rotary Foundation; building awareness of Rotary in your community, and having an up-to-date strategic plan.

Using the process of setting and achieving club goals through the Club Excellence Awards, clubs are able to engage members in the planning for each year, creating and embedding camaraderie.

When clubs achieve these goals, they contribute to Rotary's overall health and culture for generations to come. Unlock the power of recognition and growth for your club!

Club Culture and Experience

Members who have a positive club experience are more likely to stay. But how do you find how member feel about your club?

One option is for club leaders to meet with small groups of members and ask what they love about the club and what they’d like to improve. Another option is to use or adapt one of Rotary’s online club experience surveys:

Club leaders can edit, add, or omit questions to tailor the surveys for their club, as well as distribute and aggregate results — all online. The instructions linked above show club leaders how to use the surveys.

Rotary Action Plan
